Rules for Entering The
Competition
About the Pageant Competition
The pageant includes three phases of competition whose sum total equals 100% of
a contestant's overall score: personal interview (34%), swimsuit (33%), and
evening gown with on-stage question (33%). There is no talent competition.
Eligibility
Criteria
Each contestant must meet the minimum requirements as outlined
below:

Entrant must be married and
living with her husband

Entrant must be at least 21
years of age

Entrant must be a United States
Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien

Entrant must be of good moral
character

Entrant
agrees to conduct herself at all times in a manner consistent with the
highest moral and ethical standards and understands that the Pageant reserves
the right to disqualify anyone from participation who, in the opinion of
Pageant officials, is guilty of misconduct.

Entrant agrees that the
decision of the judges is final.

Entrant agrees to
remit all application, advertising and registration fees per the payment schedule

Entrant agrees to attend and
compete in the upcoming Mrs. United States Pageant if selected
the winner of her state, and further agrees to abide by all the
required services, rules and regulations governing the national pageant.
The
term entrant is defined as a naturally born female meeting the
criteria outlined in the rules and regulations. The term
husband is defined as a naturally born male legally married to (not separated
from) the entrant.

registration processes.
