The 2005 Mrs. New Jersey United States Pageant

The 2005 pageant was held at 7:30 p.m. on April 30th
at the Historic Strand Theater in Lakewood, New Jersey

About the Pageant
The 2005 Pageant was an exciting series of events, culminating with the crowning of the new titleholder.  Pageant weekend was kicked off by a little playtime in the form of a bowling outing as an icebreaker, followed by a fun and informative skin care and makeup workshop sponsored by NARS Cosmetics.  Rehearsals Friday evening and Saturday morning guaranteed a spectacular show on Saturday night, where each contestant had her moment to shine.  The contestants for 2005 were:

Mrs. NJ US 2005 and Mrs. Congeniality

3rd Runner Up and Pageantry
 Magazine Spirit Award

1st Runner Up, Community Service Award
and Sisterhood Event Highest Score

WOMAN OF ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
The Organization also honored three outstanding New Jersey women (non-contestants) with the Mrs. New Jersey United States Woman of Achievement Award.  Those awards were presented to:

Ms. Catherine Brettman - Community Achievement Award
Ms. Kent Manahan - Professional Achievement Award
Senator Diane Allen - Civic Achievement Award
